No kisses please... by SilverblueCat No kisses please... by SilverblueCat
Poor Dusty. I totally agree with him. Caleb's breath leaves much to be desired. ;)

hahaha aw this is cute, even if dusty is quite disturbed.
Caleb is such an awesome name by the way. :D

*laughs* They're good pals, the two of them. Dusty plays with him all the time, and the two of them sleep on my bed cuddled together at night on the other pillow. Caleb always gets a good-night bath from the kitty, too.

I love the name Caleb too! Even if I do call him Liblet as a nickname. :D

Aww that just sounds so sweet. You're so lucky to be able to have them in your life. :)

haha Liblet? That's cute. I've always wondered how people came up with little nicknames. Did "Liblet" come from anywhere?

*grins* Liblet comes from Niblet, because we say that at times Caleb has the brains of creamed corn. He's not the brightest cookie in the dog-treat box, someties. I also call him Libbers, Libby, Libomatic, and Chompy. The last one's kind of obvious.

I am, he's an awesome cat. He's my bottlefed cat -- I rescued a mom and a litter and fostered them for my local rescue group. The mom came from an overcrowded shelter and came down seriously sick a few days after I got her and the kittens. I ended up having to tube feed and medicate kittens, and D here refused the tube, but darn, he'd drink out of a syringe. So... after a week, mom was better and the other kittens went right back to nursing on mom --

Except D. He decided he was NOT a cat, and would have nothing to do with her. He'd crawl out of the box and scream and scream until I came and got him. Totally imprinted. Which was okay, he has some serious health issues that required a lot of care, and still do as an adult. :)

He's actually one of the nicest, most well-adjusted cats you ever hope to meet. My vet comments all the time on how easy he is to deal with. His only thing is that when he feels insecure he climbs into my shirt, which was fine when he was a baby, but um, he's a pretty big cat now. Goofball.

oohhhhh .... what a lovely story! ^^ I love hearing/reading animal stories like that. How old are they now? Still good friends? ^^
SilverblueCat Featured By Owner Jun 17, 2013
Caleb's four, and Dusty is six this year. :)

And yes, still good friends. Caleb got a D-cat bath last night, apparently he was not groomed enough!

Ohh ok poor caleb :giggle: haha I like "Libomatic".

Oh wow! That must have been a lot of work, taking care of them all. I see why he's so special to you. :)Though, it must hurt having a full grown cat trying to cling to you under your shirt. ^^; I kind of envy people who can take care of multiple animals. I would love to have many different kinds but I just don't think I would be capable of taking care of them all. That's why I just want one dog. haha He can be my best buddy.

The last cat I lived't too nice. She bit and scratched a lot and was kind of mean. She was my roommate's cat and my roommate didn't really brush her all that often so my allergies decided to go insane. She made me not like cats very much, though i know there can be nice cats. Like your cat Dusty and my old friend Skittles. ^_^
